To Read: 1 Cor. 15:9-11

We often say grace is the unmerited favor of God. I think this is true. But it’s the unmerited part that seems to trip us up. Does God really give grace simply because he wants to? Are you sure I don’t have to do something to earn it?

Then there are those of us who believe along the lines of, “Jesus will give me free grace once, but the refill will cost me.” We think grace gets us in, but we have to keep ourselves in our own efforts. I mean, is the love of God really limitless?
